My intention was to show people in a haunted state as reflected by fragility
and helplessness. Their feeling of fear and anxiety is related to concerns
over social and cultural conflict.
I tried to depict the inner voices of these people who are looking for their soul
and freedom. I wanted to speak metaphorically by combining of black and
white: contrast, adjacency, and territory of each color impart a sense of
imprisonment and freedom.
I used two panels to show the duality of external and internal reality and to
reach a balance between destructive and constructive impulses.
