As a female born in Iran, I grew up in a tradition that embraced a distorted sense of reality. In my work, I have been always interested in exploring very nature of human existence and reality of life and more effective means of their conveyance.
I like to explore a range of psychological and emotional states and examine philosophical questions that have their roots in Existentialism through Painting, Sculpture, Video and Sound.
Always concerned with addressing the opposites: the physical and intellectual, being interested in interstices between visible and invisible, ephemeral and eternal, sound and silence, present and absence, and investigating the different realities of external and internal space of mind.
Black and white both are the colour of emptiness in my work, stand up as an unanswered questions and reflect freedom in different way.
Minimal objects, emptiness compositions and sound in the minimal and abstract quality are the elements of my work that stand and have their own identities.
